About Tigs Bits
Tigs Bits has been a long time in the making.
The roots go back to my days in sports radio, first with Total Sports on KASO in Minden and later The Bottom Line on ESPN Radio in Baton Rouge, where Tigs Bits was born as a segment built around whatever happened to be on my mind.
Years later, I brought the name back for a podcast where I simply interviewed people I found interesting. The show has evolved many times since then, including some unforgettable years alongside Blasi and JR, but the heart of Tigs Bits has always stayed pretty simple.
I'm curious about people. I love a good story. And I like creating conversations people want to be part of.
Today, Tigs Bits is a mix of interesting people, Louisiana, food, sports, culture, nostalgia and whatever else catches my attention along the way.
The format keeps evolving, and the story is still being written.
But after all these years, it's still Tigs Bits.
I'm Brantley Salter. Most people call me Tigs. Welcome to Tigs Bits.
